Mechanical Repair Technician required by growing company based in Gloucester. The successful Mechanical Repair Technician will be responsible for assembly test and repair of mechanical and hydraulic components to strict quality standards.

Main Duties: Mechanical Repair Technician

  • Assembly and test of mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic products.
  • Carrying out fault finding and repairs.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Updating records and databases.
  • Ensuring that finished products conform to quality standards.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Mechanical Repair Technician

  • A background within a similar position gained within a manufacturing or engineering or equivalent environment. 
  • A  Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of fault finding, maintenance and repair of hydraulic or mechanical products.
  • An understanding of continuous improvement processes.
  • Excellent communication and numeracy skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
