The Role

As one of the on site mechanical maintenance engineers, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of essential site services and equipment including but not limited to:

Process cooking equipment and industrial food cooking ovens.Maintaining and repairing pumps, motors and conveyor systems through a wide range of machinery.General site services such as air compressors and water systems.Training will also be provided for other essential services such as steam boilers and refrigeration systems.You will be working as part of an ever expanding team of engineers driven to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety and machine availability.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate for this role will be:

A mechanically biased engineer with experience in a manufacturing process environment.Confident working on process equipment and a wide range of site services. Setting and changing over injection moulding machines and toolingManaging frequent tool changes efficiently to support medium production runsOptimising processes to improve cycle times, reduce scrap, and maximise outputMonitoring production to ensure quality and performance targets are metTroubleshooting issues quickly to minimise downtimeSupporting continuous improvement across the shop floor

 

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as an Injection Moulding SetterConfident carrying out regular tool changes in a busy production environmentStrong understanding of moulding processes and materialsHands-on problem solver with good attention to detailTeam player with the ability to work independently
