Warehouse Operative - Role and Responsibilities

About The Role Warehouse Operative Dayshift

We are looking for warehouse experience moving stock and loading wagons , yard environment

  • Unloading wagons of product and performing basic quality checks
  • Loading wagons with finished goods for distribution from site
  • Performing stock rotation
  • Ensuring warehouse is clean and tidy – 5s principles
  • Building and wrapping pallets
  • Good Inwards Receiving
  • Unloading orders on and off vehicles
  • Checking order quantities
  • Kanban System
  • Inputting data onto ERP
  • Cycle Counts
  • Picking and Packing
  • Safe and coordinated storage of all materials
  • Maintaining accurate picking/put away of materials to aid Cycle Counting
  • You will comply with health and safety regulations within the team and the environment, ensuring safe practice regarding use of equipment (i.e., machinery, lift truck, manual handling equipment etc)
  • To ensure all workstations are fully operational in terms of packaging materials
  • To promote the quality of customer orders picked and packed through the Distribution department adhering to, complying with SOP’s

Working Environment: Warehouse Operative Dayshift

  • Open plan warehouse / factory building and yard area
  • All necessary personal protective equipment must be worn along with the use of the correct manual handling equipment and operating techniques
  • Experience of working within a stores , yard or warehouse environment, inbound or outbound
  • Confidence and communication skills to share expertise to help others
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to work on their own initiative but also be part of a proactive team
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Ability to lift and move products and consumables
  • Knowledge of stock control and replenishment systems

They are seeking a PLC and drives engineer to join their growing team to lead on the commissioning and testing of their products on site.Key Responsibilities – Electrical Commissioning Engineer Coordinating Electrical and Instrumentation commissioning activities with the client and the engineering team on new builds and ongoing upgrades of existing systems.Setting up of control panels, PLCs, HMIs, AC and DC Drives, instrumentation, etc. On and off site.Carry out commissioning tests, review test results and produce test reports to confirm compliance with technical specifications.Responding to on-call service requests, from breakdowns and faults on electrical and automation equipment remotely or on site or escalating issues to the engineering team.Documenting and controlling all changes including software revisions as necessary.Responding to breakdowns and faults on electrical and automation equipment remotely or on site.Collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Service teams to ensure continuous development of machinery and equipment, processes and assist with technical issues.Carry out minor installation completion works, modifications and snagging.
