Role Overview - Key Account Manager
Our client is a leader in high-performance engineering, renowned for delivering cutting-edge technology and solutions to industries such as automotive and aerospace. They are looking for a highly motivated Key Account Manager to join theirr team for a 12-month fixed term, playing a pivotal role in managing key accounts and ensuring the smooth running of the engineering and manufacturing processes. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination and commercial management of key customer accounts.
Key responsibilities - Key Account Manager
- Generating quotations in coordination with internal teams.
- Communicating quotations and project progress to customers.
- Managing existing programmes, tracking open orders, and ensuring timely invoicing.
- Addressing customer enquiries with the support of technical experts.
- Engaging in commercial negotiations to ensure optimal use of capabilities.
- Assessing the health, safety, environmental, and energy impacts of all activities.
- Supporting the company's compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018, following policy and best practices.
Key experience - Key Account Manager
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing both internal and external relationships.
- Proven ability to drive progress and maintain momentum within diverse teams.
- Previous experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar business systems.
- A solid understanding of commercial aspects of engineering services and products, particularly within the automotive or aerospace industries.
- A strong work ethic and a results-driven approach.
