Role: Quality Inspector
Location: Stillington
Salary: £29,760
3 Shift: early / late / nights
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quality Inspector to join an established engineering business in Stillington.
This market leading company operates in a wide range of industries including aerospace, defence, automotive and transportation, employing over 4,500 people in 22 countries.
We are looking to recruit a Quality Inspector/Operator to conduct inspections on heat-treated components, perform reworks, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
Main responsibilities:
- Carry out accurate and efficient inspection on heat treated components
- Perform reworks following a detailed work instruction
- Maintain component identification
- Maintain inspection records
- Check compliance to Quality Systems and customer specifications
- Assist in the preparation for and participate in Internal and External Quality Audits
- Liaison with production with regards to priorities and customer requirements
- Record and report any non-conformances to Quality Manger
- Ensure safe operating of all plant and equipment
- Periodic checks and calibrations
- Follow company health and safety procedures
- Comply with all quality system requirements
Qualifications, experience and skills:
- Experience as quality inspector or similar role
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and time management skills are a must
- Proactive can-do attitude with the willingness to overcome obstacles
- Experience of working in manufacturing environment
Salary / package:
- Pension - match contribution from 4% - 10%
