Underwriting Trainee required by industry leading and award winning company on the outskirts of Cirencester. Following comprehensive training, the successful Underwriting Trainee will play a key role in underwriting applications and managing contract amendments as needed.

Main Duties – Underwriting Trainee

  • Accurately processing new applications and updating existing contracts.
  • Effectively prioritising urgent applications to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, building and maintaining strong business relationships.
  • Engaging in ongoing professional training and career development.
  • Providing administrative support to the Underwriting team.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Underwriting Trainee

  • A background in an administration or similar role, ideally gained in a financial services or equivalent environment.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to relate to people at all levels.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise own workload.
  • A keenness to learn new skills.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
