Role: Production Technician                                           

Location: Skelmesdale

Salary: £27,600

Early / Late

Mon: 9am – 4pm, 4pm – 11pm

Tues, Weds, Thurs: 6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm

Fri: 6am – 1pm, 1pm – 8pm

This is an excellent opportunity for a Production Technician to join a leading engineering business, operating in a wide range of industries including aerospace, defence, automotives and transportation.

Key Responsibilities

Main responsibilities:

  • Prepare components to laid down instructions
  • Inspect own work to identify trends & maintain quality standards
  • Maintain a tidy / safe working environment
  • Assist supervisor with the daily running of braze prep department
  • Planning of various braze jobs
  • Ensure process operatives have the equipment and means to complete their assigned tasks

Qualifications & Experiences

  • Previous production/engineering/manufacturing background
  • Good general education, good literacy, numeracy and IT competence
  • FLT operator desirable but can be trained
  • Attention to detail
