Job Title: Stores Supervisor

My client is global leading engineering and manufacturing business located in the Reading area looking to add a Stores Supervisor on a 6 month PAYE contract.

Key Responsibilities – Stores Supervisor    

  • Ensure an efficient system for inbound processes, storage, and inventory distribution from the stores to Production, Suppliers, and Customers.
  • Maintain a comprehensive traceability system by labelling goods, assigning internal batch numbers, and ensuring all materials are accurately identified at all times.
  • Provide timely kitting services from stores to production or purchasing for subcontracted operations.
  • Oversee the issuance of consumable items to shop floor Supervisors.
  • Manage daily operations of store personnel, ensuring all necessary records are maintained.
  • Perform any additional duties or special projects as assigned by the Materials Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements – Stores Supervisor   

  • Proven experience with MRP systems, managing pick lists, store’s locations, lot traceability, and product serialization.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (intermediate level).
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience supervising or managing a stores or warehouse team.
